Andy has 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Until recently he worked with Doctors.net.uk, an online professional medical network, where he helped pharmaceutical clients to create and deliver effective online campaigns.
Before this Andy spent 10 years as a management consultant starting with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the Global Life Sciences Practice and he worked on many CRM, sales force effectiveness and key account management projects.
Andy has also worked as a consultant to the NHS and Department of Health, focusing on frontline clinical engagement, digital engagement and performance management projects.
Alex Ballantyne
Alex has over 20 years' experience of working in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and FMCG industries. Alex has successfully built the largest online patient community in Europe, NetDoctor.co.uk. Alex sold NetDoctor.co.uk to the National Magazine Company in 2006 and and subsequently went on to head up their digital group as Managing Director, Hearst Digital.
Julian Harrison, BPharm, MRPharmS, PhD, MBA
Before founding Pharmacy2U in 2000 Julian had distinguished commercial career at Reckitt and Colman in R&D then in marketing where he managed prescription, pharmacy sales and OTC products. He then moved to Andersen Consulting where he consulted to some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies on eCommerce strategy development and implementation.
Mat Phillips
Mat has over twenty years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, including ten years spent at board level with Johnson&Johnson. His broad range of skills and experience span traditional and new approaches to sales and marketing. He has pioneered a ‘digital first’ approach to help companies adapt to the realities of a new business model.
Mat understands the challenges facing pharmaceutical companies as they respond to an increasingly consumer-led world and he helps clients to meet evolving stakeholder expectations in creative and stimulating ways.
Dr Dave Chaffey BSc, PHD, FCIM, MID
Dave has been recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing as one of 50 marketing “gurus” worldwide who have shaped the future of marketing. He is the author of five best selling business books including “Internet Marketing: Strategy Implementation and Practice”; “E-Business and E-Commerce Management”; “eMarketing eXcellence” (with PR Smith) and “Total Email Marketing”.
As a consultant Dave specialises in digital marketing based on his 15 years of digital consulting experience. He delivers fast-paced, practical digital marketing worships. Recent in-company training and consulting assignments include 3M, BP, Boehringer Ingelheim, CIPD, HSBC and Mercedes-Benz.

Keith is a highly experienced management consultant and has spent 25 years working with healthcare and life sciences clients. He has held senior positions in several global consulting firms including Capgemini, Accenture and Archstone.
Keith’s main focus with Orital is identifying the information and technology needed to run a multi-channel business and then planning the most effective way to deliver that information and make appropriate business use of the technology.
Melvin Bell
Melvin has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has also worked extensively within the NHS. He specialises in the development and integration CRM systems and processes, sales force effectiveness and KAM models and strategies.
Melvin helps clients to integrate digital interactions into their existing systems and processes allowing them to develop as fully effective multi-channel organisations.

Digital communications specialist focusing on the practical applications of social media. Miranda has a BSc in political communication an MA in creative writing and detailed experience in the Web 2.0 & social media arenas.

Having run successful campaigns for pharmaceutical companies and the NHS, she is no stranger to negotiating the ABPI and other regulatory bodies.
